Zanele Keswa, a learner of Vredefort Primary School, and her Free State U12 Relay teammates received a well deserved silver medal in Germiston at the SA Schools Athletics Championships.

Another two learners of Vredefort Primary also had the honour of competing at the SA Championships. Sibahle Mtyebisa came 17th in the high jump final, while Tidimalo Molupe was 7th in the heat for the finals,
but could not finish.

Their coach and team manager is Mrs Liezel Vermeulen.
