Pensioner loses everything in devastating fire

If there is a good Samaritan who could help him repair his house, or could help with clothes, furniture, or linen, please phone his son, Mr Mojalefa Modiko on 078 824 8679.

A pensioner from Vuka section in Tumahole lost all he had, including his car, after a devastating fire last Tuesday.

Mr Petrus Moagi Modiko, who worked as a darkroom assistant at the X-Ray department of the Parys District Hospital before he retired, was alone in the house when he woke up to the smell of smoke.

Nothing could be saved from the house. Neighbours came to his rescue to get him out of the burning house. He was admitted to the Parys District Hospital for treatment as he is diabetic and suffered major trauma after the event.

If there is a good Samaritan who could help him repair his house, or could help with clothes, furniture, or linen, please phone his son, Mr Mojalefa Modiko on 078 824 8679.
