First club competition proves success for Parys 20 Four 7 Trampoline Club
The club will also be hosting a Golf Day on September 4 at the Parys Golf and Country Estate.
Parys 20 FOUR 7 Trampoline Club hosted its first club competition on August 15, bringing together gymnasts from beginners to senior level.
The gymnasts also battled it out in the Battle of the Apparatus, competing for four trophies and giving spectators plenty to cheer about.
The club thanked all the parents who supported their children, as well as the judges, coaches and volunteers who contributed towards the success of the event.
The entrance fee for the competition will be donated to the Chrissanloo Safe House for Children, while funds raised will also contribute towards the cost of new equipment purchased for the club, including a new double-mini trampoline bed and new crash mats.
Golf day
Parys 20 FOUR 7 will also be hosting a Golf Day on September 4 at the Parys Golf and Country Estate. The event aims to raise funds to help send the club’s High-Performance gymnast, Gerhardt van Niekerk, to the World Age Group Championships in Nanjing, China, in November.
Businesses and community members can support the golf day by sponsoring a hole, sponsoring the event, or playing a round of golf. Every contribution will make a difference in helping our young athlete achieve his dream of representing South Africa on the international stage.
