Joint police/community patrol – your eyes and ears can make the difference!
Vigilence helps to prevent crime - please join this initiative

The police will again join hands with the community with a joint police/community patrol initiative today
31 December 21:00-01:00
You do not need any experience as this is a community effort in combatting crime specifically now during Festive season.
Burglary and theft remains a cause of concern to the Parys SAPS, and as a community we can make the difference.
It is a community’s eyes and ears that strengthen the police’s hand in apprehending crime. Therefore, please gather in the parking area before Mr Price on the dates given, if you are able to join.
All that is needed is a couple of hours of your time. The previous joint police/community patrol held in November, was a huge success ensuring greater visibility especially now during the festive season when a drastic increase in crime is seen annually.
Whether you are part of a neighbourhood watch already, or not – it does not matter – all are welcome – even if you can only join for an hour or two.
Also remember to keep your eyes on what is happening in your street. Report suspicious vehicles or movements to the police, and keep an eye on your neighbour’s house for anything suspicious. Vigilence helps to prevent crime.
