Potch Central School takes NW-title

Central won with five wickets after keeping their nerve in the run chase.

Potchefstroom Central School is the North West u.11 Medium Schools Champions after taking the cup on Tuesday, 22 October. This match took place at M.L. Fick against the team from Laerskool Meiringspark. Central won with five wickets after keeping their nerve in the run chase. Central School’s headmaster, Mr Chris van den Berg, is super proud of these boys and their coach, Mr Bosman. As a reward, the team will be travelling to Sun City to celebrate their successful season.

The winning side consists of (back row) Shival Lackrajh, Zeeshaan Kooreyshi, Kieran Louw, Morena Maputle, Tshireletso Nokoane, Taitum Gomez and Thuto Maleke. In front are Jude Quinn, Khumo Tshakane, Kutlwano Sechele, Khotso Shuping and Reuel Radebe.
