President Pretorius players selected for Leopards u13 Cravenweek team

Reotshepile Shopo, Kgosi Khalanyane and Siyabonga Mkhatshwa have been chosen for the u13 Leopards Craven Week team.

Four talented rugby players from Laerskool President Pretorius have earned provincial honours after being selected to represent the Leopards at age-group level.

Reotshepile Shopo, Kgosi Khalanyane and Siyabonga Mkhatshwa have all been selected for the Leopards u13A Craven Week team, while Isaiah Barends has been chosen for the u13C VKB Leopards team.

The school’s rugby organiser, Drikus Viljoen congratulated the players, describing their selections as a reward for their hard work, dedication and commitment throughout the season.

“As representatives of Laerskool President Pretorius and the Leopards Rugby Union, these young men will carry the hopes and pride of their school and community onto the field. We have no doubt that they will represent their teams with distinction, sportsmanship, and passion. May this achievement be the beginning of many more successes both on and off the rugby field,” stated Viljoen.

“We also wish to acknowledge the invaluable role played by parents, coaches, teachers, and support staff. Behind every successful young athlete stands a dedicated support network that provides encouragement, guidance, transport, resources, and unwavering belief. This achievement belongs not only to the players but also to everyone who has contributed to their rugby journey.”

The 2026 Cravenweek is set to take place in Bloemfontein from 29 June – 3 July at the prestigious Grey College.
