It is a carnival atmosphere at the 2017 Prestige Athletics Inter today (Saturday, 11 February) at the Puk McArthur Athletics Stadium as five schools compete to see who will  come out on top in terms of spirit on the pavilion. The hosts, Potchefstroom Girls High, went for a superwoman theme which personified intensity and strength. Volkskool went for the traditional “local is lekker” theme and delivered it with true spirit in a rainbow of colours. Potchefstroom Gimnasium was also on the mark once again, with a “Super Mario Bros” theme that was captivating as it was interesting to watch. Hoërskool Lichtenburg was in the mood for love as their pink and red “Valentines” theme was delivered from the heart. Potchefstroom Boys High got some martial arts inspiration with their ninja performance and sliced their competitors down to size with their moves.

It will definitely be a tough decision for the judges this year!
