Mochobo Executive Guards CC, trading as MEG Security, was established in 2004. It has successfully navigated the business terrain for 17 years and is still going strong.

“MEG Security was not immune to the challenges of the Covid-19 pan-demic. However, we not only survived the pandemic, but we have also come out stronger. “Providing the highest level of service remains our priority. Our stellar track record has been driven by our excellent, diversified workforce – the core of our business. “This month, we are launching a security-based store, dedicated to our clients.

They can walk in at any time and purchase security products at their convenience. Moreover, this year will see MEG Security expanding to the Northern Cape. This is something we have wanted to do for a very long time. We are now in a position to do that and are blessed to be able to do it during a pandemic,” said Dan Mochobo, MEG Security’s CEO.

MEG’s core business:

Physical guarding services Intruder alarm installations 24/7 monitoring and armed response CCTV installations and offsite monitoring Counter-land invasion and eviction services Tactical intervention units Special event security.

“The mandate is easy. We are committed to providing service with excellence. We are engaged and continually interact with our clients. We understand the importance of our relationship with our clients and staff and will continue to build on that to protect people, property and assets. “

As I reflect on the privilege of leading this organisation for the past 16 years, I want to pay tribute to the men and women who give their best, day after day, to run the MEG Security business. Our success is due to the commitment and passion of our people. Despite all the challenges and circumstances, they have demonstrated agility, courage and teamwork. Of our 850 employees, 187 have served for over 10 years. We will hold a badge ceremony in honour of these great men and women before the end of November.

“I also wish to extend my gratitude to all our clients, partners and suppliers in the cash industry for their continued support. Their contribution to the success of the business is much appreciated. We can proudly attest to the statement that, as part of the MEG Security family, you don’t just make the difference, you feel it.”

So, what happens in the future?

“We are seeing an increasing demand for a more automated workplace. As leaders in the security industry, MEG Security has investigated how using the fourth industrial revolution strategy, smart software and electronic security devices can drive efficiency and advance new solutions. Therefore, the push for competitive advantage and high-performing staff will encourage the creation of shared 4IR tools and personalised portfolio apps and smart technology to raise the bar for extreme digital dexterity. Happy 17th birthday, MEG Security! – Dan Mochobo.
