Water shutdown in Ventersdorp

We respectfully advise all who will be affected to plan ahead and store adequate water for the entire day.

The municipality has warned residents that on Thursday, 4 July, there will be an interruption in water supply in Ventersdorp.

In a statement from the municipality, it notes that this is due to a canal in Ventersdorp that will be cleaned.

“This necessary measure is part of the J.B. Marks Local Municipality Water Safety Plan to ensure consistency in the water supply. We respectfully
advise all who will be affected to plan ahead and store adequate water for the entire day. We will be
very grateful for the cooperation, understanding, and readiness in this regard.
For clarification or answers to inquiries regarding water, we kindly advise residents to contact JB
Marks Local Municipality Customer Care Office at 071 865 4151 / 018 264 8529 / 00,” the statement reads.
