A celebration of health & community

Visit Sasol Baillie Park's newly revamped Convenience Store.

Sasol Baillie Park celebrated a newly revamped Convenience Store along with World Food Safety Day on June 6. The new Convenience Store is bursting with freshness, flavour, and fabulous new features.

Come visit and explore the new space — updated, reimagined, and ready to make your Sasol experience even more convenient and enjoyable.

Sasol Baillie Park proudly hosted one of the main national events for World Food Safety Day — and what a day it was. From expert talks to interactive exhibits, delicious food tastings, and important community outreach — they came together to celebrate safe food, stronger health, and the power of working together.

Sasol Baillie Park also made a difference in the lives of many in the week leading up to their opening.

Sasol Baillie Park is proud to stand beside ES Le Grange Special Needs School, bringing support, safety, and smiles to a remarkable community. Together with Sasol AssureCloud, they delivered a 30-minute Food Safety Training session for the school’s kitchen staff – complete with official certificates to celebrate their learning. They donated school clothes, nutritious food, and seeds to help nurture both bodies and futures.

Sasol Baillie Park then went on to joyful and educational Handwashing Training at New Beginning Preschool Centre in Ikageng.

“Our tiniest future leaders learned the importance of clean hands in the most fun and interactive way possible. But that’s not all! This special day was made even brighter by meaningful upgrades and heartfelt community support.”

Sasol Baillie Park: Renovated school bathrooms and installed brand-new handwashing basins

Sasol Ikageng: Donated educational toys to spark learning through play

Build It (Herman): Generously sponsored the toilets and basins

Sanitech: Supplied essential hygiene products “

A heartfelt thank you to Sasol, and to every partner, sponsor, speaker, and staff member who made this event a meaningful success. Let’s continue making food safety a priority — in our homes, communities, and hearts.”
