A 32-year-old man allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl over two days after forcing her to smoke crystal meth.
According to Const. Kelebogile Trom, the Ikageng SAPS spokesperson, the girl and a friend left her home at about 20:30 on Wednesday to look for her boyfriend in Greenfield. ‘The teen says they did not find him so they stayed with her friend’s cousin until late.’
The girls eventually left at about 03:30 on Thursday and, on the way, they met two men and went with them to a house in Ext. 6. The 15-year-old alleges that they were forced to smoke crystal meth against their will. Thereafter, the man raped her twice on Thursday and once on Friday.
The Ikageng SAPS are investigating a case of rape.
Woman raped by cousin
Trom says another rape case was opened after a 26-year-old woman was allegedly raped by her 28-year-old cousin last Friday.
According to the victim, the two of them went to a nearby tavern for a few beers at 18:00 and left again at 23:00. ‘When they were walking down a passage, the suspect told the woman that he wanted to kill her. He then grabbed her arms tightly and pulled her to the ground. She tried to resist and escape but he tried to strangle her before undressing her and raping her.
According to Trom, he dressed her after her ordeal and took her back to her bedroom. The following day, the woman confided in her aunt who then informed the police. The suspect was arrested.
