A case of culpable homicide has been opened at the Ikageng police station after a 5yearold boy from Madibeng Primary School was run over by his school transport at 13:30 on Wednesday.

According to Const. Kelebogile Trom, the incident occurred near Keagile Primary School where the 46-yearold taxi driver was collecting other learners from the school.
‘It is alleged that the driver last saw him inside the taxi and, after collecting the learners at the school he drove away.
He was not aware that the victim had climbed out of the taxi.
Apparently, the boy came running when the taxi was leaving, tried to open the door, slipped and was run over by the taxi.
He was rushed to Boiki Tlhapi Clinic and died there,’ reported Trom.
