Promosa Secondary School has allegedly been without a principal since 2017 and according to DA councillor, Glenville Fransman, this has had a negative impact on the school’s performance.
In a press release, the DA (Potchefstroom branch), have requested the MEC of Education, Wendy Matsemela to intervene and to fasten the appointment of a headmaster at Promosa Secondary School.
“In the past, the school has been marred by the controversies of illegal appointments of principals, poor matric results, a shortage and misconduct of teachers and financial mismanagement,” said Fransman.
The DA pleads with the MEC Matsemela to intercede so that there are no more disruptions to the school’s management and efficiency.
