A 30-year-old suspect was arrested for the alleged rape of a 7-year-old girl.
According to W/O Mpho Manyoba, the Police spokesperson, on Saturday, 15 February, the mother of the 7-year-old girl from a farm reported a case of rape after she was informed by her son that his younger sister had been raped. She further said that the mother, brother, and grandmother went to look for the 7-year-old and when they found her, they reported the incident.
Shortly after the case was opened a suspect was arrested. “A medical examination was conducted and the investigation is ongoing,” said W/O Manyoba.
