Tuesday (10 March) morning around 10:00, the police received a complaint of the community engaging in mob justice, in Nkululeko Street.
According to Sgt Kelebogile Trom, Police spokesperson, upon arrival at the scene, the Police found a group of people on the premises. “There was a 26-year-old man lying on his back, bleeding from a stab wound. His nostrils and his face were swollen,” she said.
He was declared dead on the scene.
“Some members of the community were taken in for questioning but no one has yet been arrested,” said Trom. Investigations are ongoing.
