According to JB Marks Municipality spokesperson, William Maphosa, the municipality has been notified by Eskom to switch the power in Ikageng off , in order to conduct emergency repairs on Tuesday, 21 April.
The power outage in Ikageng will be from 09:00 until around 11:30.
“Residents are warned to always treat the grid as live, as the power may return unexpectedly during the period. The Municipality regrets the inconvience that may be caused by the outage,” he said.
Maphosa suggests that this is necessary, as the grid needs to be maintained to ensure that there is a sustainable supply of power.
