The Dan Tloome Building, the main municipal offices of JB Marks Municipality, closed with immediate effect due to a confirmed case of Covid-19.
According to William Maphosa, municipal spokesperson, the offices will be closed from Monday, 22 June until Friday, 26 June. The offices will be reopened on 26 June, after the disinfection of offices are complete.
“Essential services will still be provided because other municipal facilities are not affected. We regret the inconvenience caused and assure the public that everything is in control,” said Maphosa.
He also reassures the public that there’s no need to panic as this is done in order to protect clients and the public at large.
