Temporary suspension of municipal services.

Members of the community are referred to either banks, the post office and various vendors should they like to pay for services or buy prepaid electricity.

Following a continuation of an illegal strike led by municipal workers that occurred yesterday,  06 April 2022, the JB Marks Local Municipality Sections that include Revenue Offices, Felophepa Landfill Site and the Driver, Learner Licenses, Testing and Registration Centre are closed for the rest of today,  07 April 2022, as employees continue to strike.

In a statement released by the JB Marks communion unit members of the community are referred to either banks, post offices, various vendors and stores such as Pick ‘n Pay, Spar, Shoprite as well as online payment or EFT payments should they like to pay for services or buy prepaid electricity.

“As the JB Marks Local Municipality, we once again take this opportunity to apologize to members of the community for the inconvenience caused. As we indicated yesterday, we still condemn in the strongest terms, non-delivery of services to the Public,” the statement read. CSA Fire
