It is alleged that the water at a reservoir near Sonderwater is being contaminated.

Therefore the following residents are advised not to drink tap water until further investigations have been concluded; Mohadin, Top City, Sonderwater, Kanana, Promosa and all extensions.

The J.B. Marks municipality is in the process of providing alternative water tanks while the issue is being investigated.
