NWU student has passed away

The North-West University (NWU) mourns the passing of 20-year-old Mmathabo Cornelia Sesinyi, a student at the Mahikeng Campus who passed away on Tuesday, 26 July 2022. Some family members, along with members of the South African Police Services (SAPS), have already been on the scene. Sesinyi was a first-year BA Communication student and a resident at the GaTholo off-campus residence. Police spokesperson, Captain Aafje Botma confirmed that an inquest was opened and that investigations are underway.
