It has been a daunting three weeks for the Sekhute family who last saw their daughter, Tshepiso Sekhute on Saturday, 3 September.
According to Tshepiso’s sister, Diana Sekhute, the 14-year-old recently started becoming troublesome and soon was a challenge for the family.
“She often goes out with friends and disappears for four to five days but my mom would go out looking for her and find her,” she explained. It has been over three weeks and the family is still searching. “This is the longest that she has gone missing,” Diana explained. “We have looked everywhere, asked her friends and we have received nothing,” she lamented.
Diana and her family fear the worst and are asking the community to assist them. “ She is still very young and has her future ahead of her.
We need her back,” she added. According to the family, Tshepiso was last seen wearing grey leggings, and a grey top with black takkies. She was last seen leaving their family home in Ikageng.
