The municipality informs members of the public that areas around Old Ikageng / Ikageng could experience water supply shortages due to Mechanical Fault on the pump station that feeds Ikageng Reservoir.
” The team from technical services section is on site resolving the problem. Water supply will be restored as soon as possible. Whilst waiting for restoration of the water supply, residents at affected areas would be assisted through water tankering,” Acting municipal spokesperson, Jeanette Tshite said.
“Those who got affected are once more requested to inform their councilors so that they assist with coordination of water tankers,” she added.
