Community members are reminded to submit meter readings every month

The J.B. Marks Municipality reminds all residents that every month from the 1st- 10th, the domestic water and electricity meters are read and recorded.

Residents are therefore urged to allow entry to those in charge of taking accurate readings of household meters. Should residents not allow workers access to their homes, the municipal system will automatically estimate the readings. It is every household’s responsibility to ensure that meters are readable and kept clean.

Residents with water and electricity meters inside their yards and locked gates are advised to submit readings to the municipality’s revenue section before the 10th of each month.
