Former NWU Vice Chancellor passes away

Prof. Dan Kgwadi, former Vice Chancellor of the NWU, passed away on 30 April 2023.

According to Prof. Bismark Tyobeka, the current principal and Vice Chancellor of the NWU, Prof. Kgwadi was reportedly very ill.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this very difficult time.
The family will guide on further details regarding the funeral and other arrangements,” Prof. Tyobeka said in a statement.
