Police in search of man to assist in rape case of 12-year old
According to NW police spokesperson, Capt. Sam Tselanyane, the man can possibly assist the police in a rape case that was reported at midday on Tuesday, 8 August 2023, in an open field, at the Jammie Zakhele Dumping Site in Ikageng.
Ikageng police request the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest who can assist in an ongoing rape case.
The man is estimated to be in his 20’s and dark in complexion with dark eyes, a scar on his upper lip, three stars tattooed between his eyes as well as a picture of a knife tattooed on his right arm. Furthermore, he is of medium height and slender.
According to NW police spokesperson, Capt. Sam Tselanyane, the man can possibly assist the police in a rape case that was reported at midday on Tuesday, 8 August 2023, in an open field, at the Jammie Zakhele Dumping Site in Ikageng.
“It was reported at the time of the incident, that a 12-year-old girl was walking from Marikana Extension to Ikageng, when a male person came to her aid, because she was crying. He told her that he knows her brother and will help her find him. Whilst walking at the dumping site, he threatened the girl with a knife and raped her,” stated Tselanyane.
