O.R. Tambo street closed tomorrow next to police station due to filming
Rose and Oaks Media are shooting an upcoming movie "Don't Let Go" in Potchefstroom tomorrow and are utilising the heritage backdrop of the police station for one of the scenes in the film.

A section of O.R. Tambo street next to the Potchefstroom police station will be closed to traffic tomorrow (Tuesday, 19 September) due to a production company that are filming in front of the station.
Rose and Oaks Media are shooting an upcoming movie “Don’t Let Go” in Potchefstroom tomorrow and are utilising the heritage backdrop of the police station for one of the scenes in the film.

According to NW police spokesperson, Col. Adele Myburgh, the street will be closed, but the detective branch and community service sections will be available at the N12 side of the police station.
“Service delivery to the public will continue as normal and will just be shifted to the other side of the building for the duration of the filming,” added Myburgh.
The street will be cordoned off from the corner of Wolmarans and O.R Tambo street up until the N12 (Nelson Mandela Drive).
Other streets that will be affected due to the filming are as follows:
- Walter Sisulu Street – Town Hall Potchefstroom (08:00-13:00)
- Potchefstroom Suburbs – 280 and 284 Beyers Naude Avenue (15:30-16:30) (Temporary Road Closure)
- Piet Bosman Street – Potchefstroom Bowling Club and Train Station (16:30-18:30) (Temporary Road Closure)
