Saints deliver impressive Creation-themed concert

The main premise of the show was to celebrate God’s brilliance and give the audience a fresh perspective on what it means to go back to the Garden and restore a relationship with Him.

Saints Christian School presented an inspirational school concert titled “Back to the Garden” from 27 to 28 September, giving a new musical perspective on the Creation as told in Genesis.

Jade Jantjies was the director and dance teacher who produced the concert that pays homage to this amazing Bible account of how the world came to be. Saints’ learners from grades 1 to 10 highlighted various elements of the story through monologues and superbly choreographed dancing.

The main characters, Nkosi (Tshegofatso Nkwe), Dineo (Nthabiseng Radieta) and Grandma (Waratwa Maruping) set the scene through scripture readings as a bedtime story. Various elements that God created (light, sky, ocean, trees, animals) and the fall of man were highlighted with vibrant colourful costumes, melodies and intricate dancing.

The main premise of the show was to celebrate God’s brilliance and give the audience a fresh perspective on what it means to go back to the Garden and restore a relationship with Him.
