Body of unknown manfound in Potchefstroom

Police have opened an inquest docket after the body of an unidentified man, believed to be in his 40s or 50s, was found in Potchefstroom.

The body of unknown man was found yesterday morning at around 07:20.

According to Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone, police spokesperson, the body of a man suspected to be between 40 and 50 years old was found on the corner of Nelson Mandela and Govan Mbeki drive on September 9.

The cause of death is not known but according to Mokgwabone, an inquest docket has been opened for investigation.
