The planned electricity supply interruption that was scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 12, has been postponed until further notice.

Jeanette Tshite, municipal spokesperson, says the JB Marks Local Municipality wishes to inform all residents and businesses in Potchefstroom that the planned electricity supply interruption has been postponed until further notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

“The interruption was intended to allow for essential maintenance on the 132kV distribution power line. The Municipality appreciates your understanding and will communicate a new date in due course.”
