Municipal revenue offices reopen after renovations

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused during the temporary closure of the Municipal Revenue Office.”

After roughly two weeks of renovations, the Municipal Revenue Office is fully operational again and open to the public.

The revenue offices were temporarily closed from Friday, May 22 and reopened on Tuesday, June 9 due to urgent renovations that had to be completed.  

The Herald had previously reported that roof leakages had caused unsafe working conditions.

Residents who identify any discrepancies or errors on their Municipal Accounts are encouraged to visit the Enquiries Counter at the Revenue Office for assistance.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused during the temporary closure of the Municipal Revenue Office,” stated JB Marks municipal spokesperson, Jeanette Tshite.
