Bright female minds get STEM mentorship opportunity

Learners from from Hoër Volkskool Potchefstroom, Ferdinand Postma High School and Saints Christian School were recently inducted into the prestigious NWU STEM MentHER programme.

The North-West University Faculty of Engineering’s leading female academics in Engineering departments, alongside the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences’ schools of Nursing, Physics, and Statistics, will mentor and guide 10 learners from schools across North West and Northern Cape.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is about combining these fields into the real world and seeing it as a unit.
