Ikageng man missing since May this year

A family member last saw him at around 20:00 in Ikageng, Extension 11 on Monday, May 25.

The 27-year-old Mpina David Plaatjie, also commonly known as Makula, has been missing since Monday, May 25.

Potchefstroom police are requesting the community’s assistance in locating Plaatjie, who was last seen in Extension 11 in Ikageng.

A family member last saw him at around 20:00 in Ikageng on that Monday.

According to NW police spokesperson, Capt. Majang Skalkie, a search was undertaken and extensive investigations conducted without any positive results.

“It is unknown what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance. He is tall, with black curly hair and a full moustache. He also has a tattoo on his left arm and a scar on his stomach,” added Skalkie.

The police request anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of Plaatjie to contact the Investigating Officer, Detective Warrant Officer Moseki Mokgopha, on 060 987 8610.
