This past Saturday (September 26), a section of MooiRivier Mall was turned into a cupcake wonderland, with uniquely and colourfully decorated cupcakes drawing the attention of various Potchefstroomers doing their weekly shopping.

Some were eager to once again have the opportunity to contribute to the annual Cupcakes of Hope campaign, which focuses on raising funds to support children with cancer. This was part of a nationwie campaign throughout the country.

The Potchefstroom team, headed by Angelique Hall and Elmarieta van Niekerk, alongside MooiRivier Mall marketing manager Samantha Schoonhoven, had a good outing as cupcakes were sold to young and old.

“We are very happy with the turnout. The cupcakes that were left over were also donated to those in need,” added Angelique.
