The North West Open for men was held at Lost City and won by Kyle McClatchie from Ekurhuleni, whilst Wade Jacobs (Klerksdorp) was 6th and Gerrie Badenhorst (Potchefstroom 9th).
Andre van Dyk (Klerksdorp) and Christiaan Burke (Potchefstroom) both did well at the S.A. Boys U.19 event with both finishing extremely well to make the top 32 that qualified for the match play.
Dougie McCabe (Rustenburg) won the Highveld Mid-Amateur Open at Middleburg, whilst Theunie Bezuidenhout (Rustenburg) did well at the E.P. Open.
