North West’s two-time defending Spur High School MTB Series national champion riders are gunning for their third title in a row at Hoërskool Bekker this Saturday, 7 October.

The chances are good that this super team consisting of Potchefstroom’s finest riders will have what it takes on a challenging and exciting weekend of racing. Pieter du Toit and Danielle Strydom will captain the squad and, under their leadership, common understanding and international experience will be a force to be reckoned with.

Other Potch riders in the North West team are Brendan van Eeden and his sister, Joné van Eeden, who have both impressed. Joné has truly had a      breakthrough year as North West champion in the Youth Girls category and will look to do her province proud with a big finish to the season.

Andrea de Waal of Girls High is also a solid and dependable rider and it is a safe bet that she will take on the challenge with both wheels. Natalie Strydom  (Danielle’s sister) and Natasha Roets are two young guns that will also want to stamp their authority.
