The aspiring local football team, Signal FC will be playing in the SAB Regional League playoffs this Sunday, 27 May with only one goal on mind – to be crowned as the best in the Kenneth Kaunda District.

Signal FC’s journey will start with a semi-final match against Newcastle United 97 FC that will take place at 09:00 at the Khuma Stadium in Stilfontein. The winner of this match will play the winner of the other semi-final contested between, Tiki Taka FC and Stilfontein Real Hearts FC. The final will take place at the same stadium later that day at 15:30.

“If we win we will be going to the provincial play-off’s next weekend in Rustenburg we where we will represent the Kenneth Kaunda district,” said Signal FC team manager, Bethuel “Lampie” Mere.

If Signal FC win their first game at the provincial playoff’s they will automatically play in the ABC Motsepe League next season, which is the third tier of SA football.

“We just need everyone’s support especially with regards to transport and food on that particular day,” added Mere.
