The North West PTSR Council Summer Sports Day took place today (Wedenesday, 10 October) at the Potchefstroom Military Sports Club (PMSC).

Soldiers from 15 units competed in a variety of sports under the blazing sun, such as bowls, cue pool sport, volleyball, netball, squash, fishing, golf and a 5km run. PMSC, Zeersut Military Sports Club (ZMSC) and Mahikeng Military Sports Club (MMSC) formed part of the action on the day.

The winners on the day will be determined on a points system. The current Winter Sports Day champions are 4Art Regiment and they will look to take the summer games title too.
