Former Boys High learner competing against the world’s best

The former Potchefstroom Boys High sprinter, Thando Dlodlo, has truly taken his game to a whole new level in the past two years, breaking numerous records on the track in the colours of his country.

A combination of pace, electricity and raw talent pours out of the veins of SA’s sprinting sensation, Thando Dlodlo.

The former Potchefstroom Boys High sprinter, Thando Dlodlo, has truly taken his game to a whole new level in the past two years, breaking numerous records on the track in the colours of his country.

This season he achieved his personal best time in the 100m clocking in a 10.08 in Trieste, Italy. He has now also recently helped the South African 4x100m relay team to a fifth place at the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar.

Dlodlo and his team mates, Akani Simbine, Clarence Munyai and Simon Magakwe, did the country proud with a superb performance against the fastest sprinters in the world.

Dlodlo attented Potchefstroom Boys High from 2014-2015 and then attended Hoërskool Monument in Krugersdorp where he furthered his career up to this point.
