A superb unbeaten 109* from Lions opener, Ryan Rickelton paved the way for a comprehensive 6 wicket win with 64 balls remaining in their chase of 222 against the Cobras in their Momentum One Day Cup clash today. The Lions secured the win through a fantastic team bowling effort in their dismissal of the Cobras for only 221, as well as a clinical batting performance that Rickelton anchored from start to finish.

The Cobras bowlers did not have the needed fire to break through as they lacked venom in their bowling. Siyabonga Mahima (1/36) was the most economical on the day for the Cape side.
