Wikus Geyer, sport organiser and teacher at Die Wilge High School, states that Die WIlge’s prowess in sport is a combination of talent, hard work and commitment from the players and coaches.

“Our learners really shine on the sport field. We want every learners to achieve his or her full potential on the sport field. It is a tremendous achievement for our learners to constantly win trophies year in and year out,” added Geyer.

The school also supports the learners in their sporting endeavours, but are in need of sponsors to take their teams to the next level.

“Each year, these learners are eager to practice and for the season to begin. Sport gives them a platform to express themselves to the full.”
