Titans take down Dragons in Potch

Earlier on in the day, Potch Gimnasium old boy, Duan Jansen, gave the local fans some entertainment with 41 (27) which included 4 huge sixes for the NW Dragons.

The Titans completed a comfortable 5 wicket win against the North West Dragons today at the JB Marks Oval thanks to an impressive 40 (28) from Dewald Brevis and an assured (35 off 31) from Theunis de Bruyn.

The North West Dragons posted a score of 134/8 in their 20 overs batting first and this proved not be enough as a strong Titans side cruised to victory with two and a half overs to spare.

Caleb Seleka (3/29) and Renaldo Meyer on debut took 2/19 in a tidy bowling performance.

The Dragons next face Western Province on Thursday 27 October in a must win match for semi-final positions for both teams.
