North West Signal FC picked up a crucial second win in the ABC Motsepe League NW stream A at
Ikageng Stadium last Saturday, 27 January with a 4-1 victory against Som United.
The hero for NW Signal FC was Pela Mafojane, who scored a hat-trick of goals. Lesego Leeto also put his name on the score sheet in front of a full house of local
supporters.
This win gives NW Signal FC much needed confidence after a winless streak of five matches. They started the campaign with a 2-1 win against local rivals, NWU Tawana FC, but have since found the going difficult with two draws and three losses.

This Saturday, the boys from Ikageng will get a chance to do the double over their local rivals when they face NWU Tawana at the Ikageng Stadium at 15:00 on Saturday, 4 February.
In a match dubbed as the “El Kasico”, these two teams will be desperate to pick up a win to avoid relegation and build momentum in the ABC Motsepe League.
NW Signal FC is fifth on the log with 8 points from seven matches. It has been a season filled with learning curves for the ABC Motsepe League newcomers, but the win against the previously undefeated Som United, could be a sign of more wins to come.
NWU Tawana has only recorded one win thus far this season and is second from the bottom of the log with only 3 points from 6 matches.
A win for Tawana will also go a long way in avenging the defeat they suffered at home in the opening
encounter in November.
Management of NW Signal FC has also pleaded with supporters not to bring hubbly pipes into the stadium due to health concerns.
Entrance to this match between NW Signal FC and NWU Tawana is free.
