Boys High first team show good form at Hockey Festival

The final match against Volkies had the spectators on their feet – with Boys High picking up a 2-1 win.

Potchefstroom Boys High School’s first hockey team showed their skills this past weekend this top results against local schools at the Hope Gates Hockey Festival Hosted by Curro Klerksdorp.

On Friday, 24 February they beat Curro 2-1, beat HTS 2-0, before losing to Wesvalia. The final match against Volkies had the spectators on their feet – with Boys High picking up a 2-1 win.

Chiraz Koetjie (head coach) and his gentlemen also beat Grenville on 2-0 on Saturday, 25 February.

Potchefstroom Boys High School’s first hockey team did exceptionally well.
