Two armed men robbed a 31-year-old man while he was walking in Maaksson Street, Bekkersdal late on Monday night (20 May).
Sergeant Linkie Lefakane, Bekkersdal Police spokesperson said the man was targeted at about 11.30pm.
“The victim claims that suspects wearing balaclavas robbed him of an undisclosed amount of cash, his cellphone, jacket and shoes,” Lefakane said.
With the victim’s help, she added, both suspects were arrested. It is suspected they already appeared in the Westonaria Magistrates’ Court.
