It was rushed to the Homestead Animal Veterinary Hospital, where they managed to provide the dog with stitches.
According to the director of Animal Aid Warriors, Naomi de Beer, the dog is doing well given the circumstances. However, she added that the veterinary bill totalled R1 086. She also stated that even though the dog is recuperating, she can see that it is still in pain from its injuries.
De Beer pleaded that if anyone can find it in their hearts to donate towards the dog’s treatment, it would be greatly appreciated. If anyone can assist, contact De Beer on 079 834 3957.
