Lend a helping hand to Kiara

No More Tears volunteer Clarisse Kruger stated, they found out about Kiara on social media. She was taken to a veterinary clinic in Ruimsig after she was picked up in the street. No More Tears then offered to take her in their care.

On June 9, they went to collect her, and soon after, her family came forward, relieved she was safe. She had accidentally gotten out of her yard in Wentworth Park, Krugersdorp. Her owner is a young girl who adopted Kiara when she was only in Grade Two, and the two have grown up together.

Unfortunately, Kiara has cancer and is currently being treated at Randfontein Dierehospitaal. Clarisse noted the vet was able to remove and treat most of the tumours, and she should be able to go home soon. She added that Kiara is fighting bravely.

Kiara’s family, however, cannot afford the cost of her vet bills, and No More Tears is asking the community to reach out and help give them hope.

With your help, we can give Kiara the chance to return to her loving home, where she belongs. If you’d like to contribute to Kiara’s medical care, any donation, big or small, would mean the world,” said Clarisse.

Any person who would like to reach out can contact No More Tears on 011 412 1010.
