Loadshedding sucks. It is costing people money.
First of all, I have a three-month-old baby who drinks bottle and for that we need hot water. Also it’s so unfair to be sitting in the dark with a infant because of loadshedding.
Another thing – our appliances. One minute you’re cooking or doing laundry, and the next … boom! … you’re in the dark!
I know someone whose fridge broke because of loadshedding. Their geyser also burst.
My mom had to replace her DStv decoder because of loadshedding. It’s really affecting us, the poor people, very badly. We cannot afford to go into more debt because of this crisis.
