VIDEO: House robbed three times in three weeks

“This time we caught it on camera.”

A Garsfontein family in the east of Pretoria has been burgled three times in the past three weeks.

This emerged from a video circulating on social media. It contains live footage of the latest burglary two days ago.

In a Facebook post on Thursday morning, Petrus Klopper’s wife warns and informs other social media users of the fact that their residence in Garsfontein had been burgled three times in three weeks.

“So I posted here [Facebook] three weeks ago about two burglaries that happened at our house here in Garsfontein and two days ago [Tuesday], – we had ANOTHER burglary! This time we caught it on camera.”

Klopper’s wife said a man broke into their locked garage on the night.

“My husband even opened the front door unaware that the man was in the front yard.”

“The man saw my husband but does not seem too worried. The burglar has something in his hand that looked like a tool, so we did not want to confront him. My husband uploaded the video to YouTube, below is link – Please share! Third burglary in three weeks!”

In the video, the burglar makes his way inside the residence and security officers are seen arriving within minutes.

The armed security reacts and go after the burglar.

Rekord has since been trying to get in contact with Klopper.

Police could not be reached at the time of going to print.
