Pretoria buses will be operational on Monday

Services had to be suspended to protect commuters and drivers.

Bus services are to resume full operation on Monday, October 23.

The Tshwane metro announced that the Tshwane and A Re Yeng bus services will continue after they had to stop the service due to a strike that lasted for three months.

Tshwane spokesperson Selby Bokaba said the metro was hopeful that the reinstatement of the two bus service operations would bring much-needed financial relief in these tough economic times.

“The service has proven to offer affordable fares, is mostly reliable time-wise and a guaranteed safer mode of transport,” Bokaba said.
