Six swimming clubs comprising 60 swimmers gathered at the Polokwane Municipal Swimming Pool on 24 June to take part in 20 events in the Limpopo Age Group Gala.

POLOKWANE – Rob Anderson, Vice President of Limpopo Aquatics said no records were set on the day but it was overall a good day for swimming and the teams were happy with the condition of the pool as well as the heating which made a difference to the chilly winter temperatures.
“The next swimming event will be held on 29 July at the Polokwane Swimming Pool and we look forward to matters improving record-wise as we are only now at the beginning of the swimming season,” Anderson said.
Adele Schoeman and Thoriso Ramokgola go head to head in the 50 m for girls between seven and 13.
